Modern British Pub Food with a Twist
Food will take centre stage, with a menu built around quality Kent produce. The new kitchen direction combines classic pub dishes with creative modern touches, focusing on bold flavours, thoughtful presentation, and broad appeal.
Sundays are also receiving a major upgrade. The traditional carvery is being replaced with a refined Sunday roast experience, featuring perfectly cooked meats, rich gravies, and all the traditional trimmings — a move that has already impressed early tasters.
A Community-Family Friendly Pub
Beyond food and drink, The Rose Revived aims to re-establish itself as a lively hub for the local community. A regular programme of events is planned, including:
Weekly live music every Friday night
Monthly quiz nights
Summer BBQ evenings
Bonfire Night celebrations in November
Local ARtwork - we have 14 local artists displaying amazing artwork which is all for sale.
The team behind The Kentish Tap say their goal is to create a warm, welcoming space that celebrates local flavours, great drinks and good company.
The Managing Director of The new Kentish Tap said:
“We recognise the out of date offerings at The Rose Revived and are so excited to be teaming up with local businesses to create this amazing collaborative space. It’s going to be amazing for Kent and a real destination if you want to try the best of what Kent produces.”
Reopening Event a huge success!
Over 200 people attended the launch event where local produce was showcased, live band More T Vicar was very popular with guests enjoying a boogie as the evening went on. The most popular lager pilsner was our house taproom beer, seconded by a brew from Three Acre brewery closely followed by Larkins Best Bitter.
